If you knew me well you would know both my good and bad traits, but for now you just need to take my word for them. Among my really good traits is my ability to think really big, which is a quality that takes a lot of very hard work. This information leads to one of my really bad traits, avoiding very hard work. As with most people who grasp everything on a very large-scale, I seem to lose sight of all those small important items, such as discipline, deadlines and details!
One of the remedies I have come up with to rectify this situation is to invite some very smart and very focused friends to give to this blog site information and insight into a varied range of topics affecting our lives as we chart our course through these new uncharted waters of not having any role models for “sixty being the new forty”.
I shall over the next few months add people with insight and ability into fields I can grasp on a macro level but then lose interest in when my eye lands on a new, shiny object, much like my toddler granddaughter.
The first of these contributors is Karen Harrold, a new and I hope a permanent friend. She is a font of information on all things natural and good for our bodies and our faces. I suspect there is not much she isn’t good at and as soon as we can we will have her full bio up for all of you. I am learning something new from her everyday.
I am just writing this brief intro before I publish her first piece, so you won’t have to be scratching your heads about what is going on………..So the next post you read will be from Karen, with more to follow!
